  Where to start ? I was planning on putting my trailer on a seasonal lot at riverview campground for the 2015 year. I had grown up going to riverview and remembered it being a clean quiet park with ideal owners. When I called I was informed that new owners had taken over possession of the park. They insisted it was the same great park it always was just with new ownership. They told mthere are not many lots left and if I wanted to ensure a lot I'd have to make a $200 deposit. Hesitantly I gave them a deposit via VISA. When I arrived with my trailer at the park I was horrified , it was dirty , the paved roads were cracked and full of potholes, makeshift awnings on people's trailers , tons of empty lots around (mostly muddy, and after they told me there weren't many left). So giving the benifit of the doubt that it was a mess due to it being Pre-season and had not finished clean up ... Anyway the lot they brought me to was a large ... but there was a trailer half Into my lot and a giant electicity box in the very middle of it . Leaving about 1/3 of the lot availible for my use. They told me because I had a small trailer I had to take that lot. I insisted I didn't want that lot and they moved me to another lot.(they were ignorant about it) . The owner "fred" was sitting yelling at me on his tractor. I decided that if it was an issue already I better get out while I could. I decided to pull my trailer out that day. I called regarding them returning the deposit to the credit card and they refused stating I'd have to get a lawyer to get the money back and where very rude and sarcastic on the phone. We'll 200$ isn't the end of the world an by far not worth the time or further expense for a lawyer however is worth letting everyone know before hand that they are a shady company and practically manipulated me to give them the deposit before I was in the park. Beware and don't even bother going.

  I visited this campground and saw rats eating garbage, broken cars everywhere and the owner was drunk and berating some other campers when we arrived. He immediately flipped me off when i told him to watch his mouth in front of my children. This campground should be closed!
